Deputy Commander for Cadets
Captain Michelle Wegner is the Deputy Commander for Cadets at the Seacoast Composite Squadron, New Hampshire Wing, Civil Air Patrol. Captain Wegner supervises all cadet programs staff officers and leads the over 45 cadet strong corps. Captain Wegner’s roles directly shape our future aerospace leaders as they build their foundation to succeed in their post CAP career.
Captain Wegner joined Civil Air Patrol as a cadet in 2007 with the Seacoast Composite Squadron in New Hampshire where she received the Billy Mitchell Award. She came back to the Seacoast Composite Squadron as a senior member in 2014 and has been very active in both Emergency Services and Cadet Programs. Captain Wegner currently serves as a Ground Team Leader for NH Wing. Prior to her current position, Captain Wegner was the Leadership Officer and the Emergency Services Officer for the squadron.
Captain Wegner received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2013 and has a civilian job as a Mechanical Engineer for a small engineering firm.
